By accessing or using the eAttest platform (the "Platform"), including its web applications, mobile applications, and related services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use ("Terms").

If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not access or use the Platform.

These Terms apply to all users of the Platform, including but not limited to end users, authorized lawyers/verifiers, franchise administrators, and super administrators.

2. Platform Description

eAttest is a digital document attestation, verification, storage, and translation platform.

The Platform enables authorized legal professionals to upload verified documents and allows users to securely access, share, print, and translate those documents.

3. User Eligibility

You may use the Platform only if:

• You are legally capable of entering into binding agreements, and
• You comply with all applicable laws and regulations in your jurisdiction.

Use of the Platform by minors is prohibited unless explicitly permitted by local law and supervised by a legal guardian.

4. User Accounts and Access

Users access the Platform using email-based authentication (OTP or equivalent secure method).

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your access credentials and for all activities performed under your account.

eAttest reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts in cases of misuse, security risks, or legal non-compliance.

Translation services are provided using AI-based systems. While reasonable efforts are made to ensure accuracy, translations may not be 100% accurate.

Users acknowledge that:

• Translations are for convenience purposes.
• Final responsibility for correctness lies with the user.
• Payment is required only after reviewing and approving the translation preview.

7. Payments and Fees

Fees may apply for:

• Document printing
• Document sharing
• Translation services

Lawyers may be charged fixed fees for document uploads.

All pricing, currency, and commission structures are defined by the platform and may vary by country. Payments are processed through third-party payment providers.

8. Data Ownership and Document Control

Users retain ownership of their documents. eAttest acts only as a secure digital custodian.

Documents are:

• Encrypted
• Digitally sealed
• Assigned unique verification URLs and QR codes

Unauthorized access, duplication, or tampering is strictly prohibited.

9. Deletion and Recovery

User-initiated deletion requests are processed as soft deletions:

• Data remains recoverable for up to 30 days
• Recovery may be requested through administrative support
• Permanent deletion occurs only after the recovery period expires

10. Prohibited Activities

You agree not to:

• Upload false or misleading information
• Attempt unauthorized access to systems or data
• Circumvent security or payment mechanisms
• Use the Platform for unlawful purposes

Violations may result in suspension, termination, or legal action.

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

• eAttest is not liable for decisions made based on attested or translated documents
• eAttest does not guarantee acceptance of documents by third parties
• Liability is limited to the fees paid for the specific service in question

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless eAttest, its affiliates, and partners from any claims arising from:

• Your misuse of the Platform
• Violation of these Terms
• Breach of applicable laws

13. Modifications to Terms

eAttest reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

14. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction where the platform operator is incorporated, unless otherwise required by local regulations.
